I had the response below written out yesterday and it’s interesting that you brought up McTominay.

Resigning to us being fked for a while is probably where most of us sit regardless of how we feel about the manager, one way or the other.
I want highlight some points here that I believe work against us. We demonetize our players as the source of the problems and not the manager that is responsible for training them, holding them accountable, and making sure that every single member of the squad steps into the pitch to punch above their weights.

We’ve had the likes of McTominay who was slated for not being good enough for the club. But went on to Italy to win the footballer of the year award. We had Mainoo again City not too long ago scoring. But at the age of 20, he’s already deemed not good enough for our golden club.

We just sold off Hojlund for half price and got another player in Sesko who is starting to appear to struggle under the weight of the formation and expectations.

The trend lately is that no one is ever good enough to play for the club. But we should consider this… Maybe, just maybe, the environment has become so toxic against creativity.

Newcastle are considering a January move for Manchester United's 20-year-old England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. “

I really hate reading these kinds of gossips because I fear they are true. I would rather lose the manager than see us lose yet another academy graduate.

We'll see how Scott McT does tonight in the Champions League, which is a level above what he's been playing in, which is at least a level below what he was previously playing in the premier league.
He wasn't hounded out by supporters, at all. He was a useful squad player the club decided to sell to balance the books. I hope he tears one into City, but he will probably not, because it was always against the very highest level he was found a bit wanting.

It's quite ironic that he was actually replaced by Ugarte, who is ****e, was ****e when ten Hag bought him, remains ****e, Amorim knew he was ****e because he sold him to PSG in the first place, and is a turd that can't be polished.

You are highlighting my post as I mention him and a couple of other players, one being Dalot. Who has been at the club for years under many managers yet still makes mistakes and can't defend properly. Tries hard, doesn't actually have the talent to kick on, and reached his ceiling years ago. Again, what is Amorim supposed to do with him other than hope he shows the discipline throughout a full 90 minutes to carry out his instructions?

Shaw is similar, for some different reasons, and we all know Bayindir will soon be replaced by Lammens as he's not that good. So I stand by my comments.

Who has said Mainoo is not good enough?

It is not productive to go from one player to another as the reason why we stink on the field. The fundamental issue is the system, and far less so about the quality of the players.

And just because Amorim is performing worse than Ten Hag doesn't justify the lack of decisiveness when it has been confirmed that a manager is not fit to lead the team. When they fail to meet the basic threshold positive goal difference, it indicates that they are utterly unfit for the job. BIN THEM!!

If we bring in the next manager and he can't win 15 of 30 games, get rid of him as well! Funny, Klopp was mentioned earlier, and Arteta. Those managers were nowhere near as terrible as Ten Haag and Amorim, even in their early days. Liverpool still scored goals and entertained. Likewise Arseal. But here, we have been fkin stinking up the league since Ole left. It is quite comical.

What the club needs to do is become more decisive and stop making excuses season after season, why some douchebag manager collecting millions should be given more time.

On another note, it is clear Amorim no longer wants to be around. Back in the day, he would have quit his role. But the insane contracts that they now have to reward abject failure with top payout once sacked are a disgrace. This is another example of how money has completely overwhelmed the game.
