Now is the real test of Lee Bowyer's character as a manager.
He has the motivational skills to inspire his players to punch above their weight, and he has had good support from Gallen and Jackson.
His extraordinary success so far has built up confidence.
But not every circumstance is under Bowyer's control. And now circumstances have led to the team's first real slump in form since he took over.
That defeat today, and the two weeks we now have to brood on it, will be a hammer blow to confidence.
LB has to turn this around and restore that confidence, or relegation again will become a possibility.

I saw enough today to know that both teams are bottom 6.
seen all of them mate (apart from Wigan) and Millwall are worse. Your black full back looks a good player, but apart from that it’s a rag n’bone outfit.
