I think they scout that brought Drogba, Essien and Zola to the English game will be just fine thanks.
**** off, Zola Budd was ****e at football and you know it.

Mate, I was only going by that wiki page. I didn't know how many players you'd signed and that says you'd signed 6 (7 if you count that young lad) with another 2 on loan (i.e. they're not your players).
Please don't pick out a few select comments from FoxesTalk saying that we're going to win the Champions League in two seasons, and assume that's the majority opinion of Leicester fans.
Also, why on Earth do you visit FoxesTalk? I'm sure if I went on somethinggenericabouttigers.com I could pick out a few "ambitious" comments.
Fact is, where you finish in the Championship is largely irrelevant. DQPR won the league based on a "just give the ball to Taarabt" approach, while Swansea went for a more footballing approach which was better suited for the Premiership, but could only finish top 6 in the league below.
Are we better than the Hull team of 2012/13? Who knows... Who cares?
It's all about how you do in the transfer window. NP has done a fantastic job scouting and attracting players at Championship level, but how will he do a level above? Remains to be seen... All I can say is, I am confident we will not be doing a DQPR (I'm sure our owners would have learnt from our own attempt at chucking money around to see what sticks!), and I would hope our transfer activity would be better than Cardiffs. Apparently we were preparing to bid £500k for Cornelius before they came in with their £8m bid
At the end of the day, if we went up and had signed Huddlestone, Livermore, Long, Jelavic et al, I would have been ecstatic. You've done well, and are a model to follow. I hope we can follow it.
I know, but that's why putting what we actually signed on is relevent. It changes the conversation from us saying you need to make more signings than we did to saying that you need to make the same kind of number. Livermore is our only loanee, you definitely wouldn't count Henderson, but you would probably want the likes of Figueroa to be included in the list of our signings.

This is pretty much spot on and an accurate assessment of Leicester fans.
Obviously some are getting carried away and others are saying "we're not good enough". Fact is we'll see.
I think we'll be just fine though, with the model we have, the finances we have, the staff we have, the owners we have and most importantly, the players we have...we'll probably have to try to fu ck it up as much as Cardiff. I think we can survive and thrive.
You just don't have a manager with enough experience or pulling power to bring in any good signings.

McGregor is better than Schmeichel.
Wasyl has played in the Champions League and is a club legend at Anderlecht because of that.
The basis on how impressive my side is comes from being the best side since the famous Reading side at this level. That side went on to finish 8th in the Premier League (not saying we'll do anything like that).
I disagree that your side is "a lot better". It is better, but not by as much as some of you would like to make out.
No he's not, Andy said so so it must be right.

So has Eldin Jakupovic, who you so highly rate, it doesn't really mean much does it? In fact, he is a bit of a cult hero at FC Thun...

The difference between Anderlecht and FC Thun is like the difference between Man City and Leicester.
Good for their level but they're worlds apart.
From what i've seen, i'd probably say Schmiechel is marginally better than McGregor. Both ****ing brilliant keepers but McGregor's temprement can be his downfall sometimes.
Other than that, only Knockaert, Drinkwater and maybe that Mahrez would be in contention for a starting place and that'd be far from guarenteed.
Both good keepers but McGregor is much better IMO and has far more experience which is even more important for a keeper
I'd say Schmeichel is a better shot stopper, which is saying something, and also his distribution is slightly better. McGregor is more solid on crosses/corners etc though.

No, obviously Anderlecht are better, but my point was that Wasilewski hasn't played 100 odd Champions League games for Anderlecht, it's mostly league games and I highly doubt the rigours of the Belgian Pro League are the same level as the Premier League over here.
When I first saw Jak play, I couldn't work out how he wasn't in the team ahead of Amos. Sure enough, he played and did well. He cocked up in one game and then apparently that was it. You could see he'd played at a higher level though, I just haven't seen that in Marcin. I'm happily proven wrong, but I just think Nige's first port of call will be to sign a CB.

That's quite fair, but how many times has McGregor's shot stopping cost us points this season? It has been more than good enough. His decision making on crosses and set pieces has been excellent and has helped us out a lot. I would rather have a better all round keeper than a great shot stopper that is not as good at other aspects.
