I was laughed at for saying england were a second rate team along thr likes of belgium/columbia/croatia etc

But they've been in the prem for years whereas we're going into our second. If he's looking to prolong his stay in the top flight then Stoke would arguably be the saner option.
It depends on how Lescott views Stoke to Hull. What type of challenge does he want. Guess we shall find out by the end of the week.
Whilst Mark Hughes took him from Everton to Man City does he rate Steve Bruce as a better manager ?? The Bruce factor could well be key now.
