Championship footall returns to the Valley this season and the first oppenents for the current League 1 champions Chartlton Athletic come in the form of Leicester City. On the opening day of the season Charlton went away to Birmingham and would of come away with all 3 points if it weren't for a last gasp equaliser from Birmingham front man Zigic. Leicester however where able to win their first game of the season beating Peterborough 2-0 with goals coming from Morgan and King. Kermogant is up against his former club and will no doubt want to prove it was a big mistake for them to let him go!

I haven't seen too much of us this pre season and seeing as the team performed so well last season they should get their chance to perform at a higher level so I have gone for the starting eleven that ran away with the league one title last year!
This will be a real test for us, Leicester are tipped to be right up there come the end of the season and looking at their squad on paper they have some great players and some real attacking threats in Beckford, Vardy, King and Marshall. That being said we only lost two games at home last season and again I expect us to be hard to beat at the Valley. I reckon another draw is on the cards and I'm gonna go for a 2-2.
