Shame we didn't meet up , it's like Wembley all over again.
Nevertheless, it was a wonderful day for me and the 3 other lads despite you & me missing each other. Quinninho made the train and was bloody good value for money. When we met up with his Dad who'd come from MK, on our pub crawl, it was great to see .... both blokes as proud of each other, father & son, good Sunderland supporters and a cracking laugh.
I managed to scam a stranger in, who was asking for tickets outside, always makes me feel good, great when you outwit the stewards
To cap it all I met up with a couple of the old Peterlee Pirates lads, at half time, then ended up on the train with an SAFC lad from Mansfield who we didn't previously know. One more for the 'contacts page'!
The Sunderland support was great which is all we can do, the rest is up to the team. The Leicester effort, minus the drum, was pitiful.
