I think the first time I went to Elland Road must have been during the 1944/45 sixth war season. When promotion and relegation resumed after the war I remember Leeds being relegated with Brentford.
I think you should write a book WC about your memories going to watch the mighty Whites. It's supporters like yourself. Leeds60 and all the other of your generation of supporters that I respect and admire. I say that genuinely out of respect and I hope I don't sound patronising.<ok>

Oh what a beautiful morning,oh what a beautiful day,iv'e got a wonderful feeling, everything's going to go Leeds way.
<party>For some reason i'm in a very good mood this morning, don't know why <whistle>
All you need is a ride and it'll be a really really good weekend...<laugh>

I have a lousy memory. I bought a magazine with my first weeks wage in 1946 which was a record of Leeds games during the war. The magazine cost two shillings and six pence which at the time was a tradesmans hourly rate. It has enabled me to guess when I started the love affair with the club although its been sorely tested by some of the crooks that have bled the club over the years.

Youd hardly still have that WC. Would love to see a few photos from that
