Feels good this morning, rivals losing, us beating an inform team that should make the top 6 and another win.

Top of the table 20 games in and at present on course for 94 points, I think we’ve also played everyone in the top 10 too.
At just about the halfway point in the league of course we will have played them.

Not at all… Often at this stage there are a few anomalies where you play a team close together, Oxford, Preston, Stoke we need to play them twice, rather that than Burnley, Sunderland and Boro

We play Blackburn again on New Year’s Day, just 31 days after playing them away

Played everyone in the top 15.

Stoke, Oxford and Preston are the teams we have yet to play, although that should be rectified in just over 2 weeks

Edited as Ristac already identified the teams we have yet to play in a subsequent post, that I failed to read before replying to his earlier post :)

Was just thinking the same. Were going to go up, I’m already looking forward to Eires motivational posts next season.

Just a shame that Sheff U are heading to Millwall when the wallies are in disarray. Typical, beat us then fall apart.

Great performance from Meslier. Some great saves at vital times
Please have a look at the Wober own goal again, Meslier is all over the place, ALL good keepers command there 6yd box, he couldnt command a box of chocolates, this player could cost us dearly at the end of the day, already 2pts deficit from Sunderland.

Kept us in the game

I'm not Meslier's biggest fan but there is nothing that Meslier could do for the goal. Wober doesn't move his feet quick enough and gets the wrong side of the ball. The cross was flat and at pace to the near post. Keepers should never stand on their near post at corners, its always toward the back post. The defenders at the near post should block the near post stuff.

Like I say, I throw alot of **** at Meslier but last night he was actually okay barring any couple of kicks early on.

It didn’t get anywhere near the 6yd box when Wober headed it. Not a chance that goal was Meslier’s fault

The one thing meslier does well (once he’s decided to do it,) is to come out in 1 v 1’s and make himself look big (not too hard when your his size). He did well yesterday.

The save at the near post from McGree was for the cameras but he did well to come out and smother the Doak opportunity.

He dished out some shanks and some hospital passes with the ball at his feet but his ‘goalkeeping’ was good yesterday.
