We would have taken it before a hall was kicked but now anything less than promotion after our start will be a failure. It’s a rare position we find ourselves in, we’ll never have a better platform to get into the Premier League than this. It’s time for McKenna to change the message now and declare that we are in a promotion battle.
We’ve been pleasantly surprised by our ability to come back in games and grind out results but today none of that was on show. The way the away end is set up at Elland Road and with the early goal silencing our support and having rings run around us, it was the most uncomfortable I have ever felt at a football match. Let’s call a spade a spade, it was a diabolical, shambolic performance.
I disagree, I love the consistent approach and message McKenna gives, how it's about the process and one game at a time, this mentality has worked wonders for us...don't change it now.
