Seems lots of supporters call their rivals "Scum." Portsmouth fans refer to Southampton as Scummers.

Paul. Mind I seem to recall that it was a rather exciting year for you boys as well in terms of last minute drama
Watched the play off final in a Salou bar couple of days after the 99 CL final. Some mad (sad) City fan had tagged along on the trip with his United mates, **** know's why as I can't think of anything more tortuous myself!
We cheered them on. Wish I hadn't now!
That City match did amuse me a lot.
Turned up at school the day after the CL final to all the City fans giving it "Utd are so **** and lucky, you needed two late goals to beat Bayern". Four days later they needed two late goals to draw with Gillingham. Have to say that tickled me more than a little bit
I think its a regional thing
We call Newcastle fans "Nappy Rippers"" for example.
Sunderland fans " Mackem Maggots"
Each to their own i suppose
