The funny thing with them sacking Clark is when we sacked Sven we was linked with Clark and Huddersfield was adamant he wasnt going anywhere. He said he was happy and they said they was fully behind him and didnt want him to leave for anyone. And then a few months down the line he is sacked. Its not like he was losing games or anything in between so something else must of happened.

There is alot of big clubs in League 1 so Huddersfield was always going to find it difficult to get top 2 but they had a chance

You could do alot worse then getting Lee Clark

We could also do a lot better. Would your first choice be Lee Clark if NP got the sack?

Lee Clarke seems to rub supporters up the wrong way. Maybe he doesn't care who he plays for/ manages.

Remember when the Geordies got to Wembley and he was spotted in the crowd wearing a t-shirt saying "sad mackem bastards". Quite bad considering he played for Sunderland at the time.

Just been looking at some of his stuff on youtube and to be honest I was pretty impressed.

He seems very sharp, confident and knows his own mind. Reminds me a lot of Brian Clough in his personality and strong focus.
The thing fans have to understand about younger managers is they do make mistakes as they learn the ropes.
But if fans are patient they can end up with the type of manager the club could never hope to afford or attract in any other way.

Just spoken to Billy Davies, the early favourite for the #hcafc job. He says he doesn't want to make any public comment on speculation.

While Davies is a good manager and will probably do a good job but he is always slagging the board off in the media and doesnt hold back.

Barmby got sacked for that so how the hell could Davies work?

Think Davies has come recommended by one of our backroom staff who worked under him @ Forest. Davies also had Paul McKenna as his captain @ Preston & Forest

Davies, McCarthy, Brown & Bruce have all taken teams up from the championship - Clark hasn't even taken a team up from league 1 - I know who I would prefer

He was slagging those boards off for not supporting him in the transfer market, I assume you'd want reassurances that wouldn't be the case if he joined us and I fail to see how or why he'd want to slag our board off if they're supporting him.

It is NOT entirely clear why Nick got sacked, we really do not know the whole truth about that, and whatever we're told, it will lay somewhere in the middle of it. Its simply not true that it was just because Nick complained about lack of funding.

Since when?! The Huddersfield fan I know was absolutely devastated when they let him go! 3 defeats in 55 games is a shocking appointment is it? Jesus Christ, get a grip.

We obviously know different Huddersfield fans. Okay Clark had a good league 1 record but so did Parkinson - and look how that appointment turned out. I just think we need someone who has been there and done it at Championship level to at least get some stability back in the club after the last couple of weeks. If not I fear a relegation battle next season
