Is that one with lots of strawberry sauce on it and a chocolate flake in it?

Six weeks before the season is due to start and Bowyer has gone back to his fishing retreat.

I suggest things are not looking good, he should be over here doing some work.

Sends Roland the message that he doesn't need to take a load of sh1t from him.

Agreed, although it looks like this could lead to a bit of bluff on both sides?

I don't think it is bluff by LB. He only came back because he was asked, he's got a successful business in an idyllic setting, he doesn't need RD's sh1t.

I agree, but I think he would like to stay. But as you say he does not need to stand for the nonsense of the Belgian.

The problem being is that the Belgian could not give a f*** whether the geezer stays or not, that is apparant.

    RD will have his excuse...

Bowyer was about to sign when he heard about a couple of fans on a Charlton forum having a pop at him. So the deal fell through.

Yes, I think he'd like to stay but isn't prepared to have the p1ss taken. It's already disrespectful enough to leave the contract negotiations this late, should have been done in January, but if Roland intends to sell Taylor and expect him to manage a team of untried kids and rejects he won't stand for it. There's not a Charlton fan who will blame him, and if Jim White gives Roland a platform to try and blame him that will just fuel their anger.

With all the focus on LB's contract situation, nothing on Jackson's, which I believe runs out at the same time. If LB walks will JJ take over or will he walk too?

Rich Cawley has said that there is no change on the Bowyer contract. Still in negotiations.

I like Bowyer's negotiating style - going fishing.
I hope he's enjoying his break. We all need to de-stress sometimes. Quite often I imagine, if our boss was Roland.

Have a look at the O/S: Bowyer is about to walk out!!!!!!!!!!

Caretaker Manager will be appointed in due course. The O/S has gone in to meltdown
