It's looking like he's been beaten down by trying to get results with players who are not good enough. Pearce is a shining example. A good L1 player but way out of his depth now. Last 2 home games very lucky not to have conceded stonewall penalties, and in one case it would have meant a red card, and his constant use of his arms is a liability. Then there's the lack of creativity without Williams and Gallagher. Bowyer wanted Madison but the decision was taken out of his hands, which was wrong. I don't know about his character, but his stats on assists is phenominal, and that's what we're crying out for. I said at the beginning of the season that the best we could hope for was that Bowyer would make us a stuffy team difficult to beat, grinding out enough results to keep us safe, and that still applies for me. This squad lacks good players, and good players win matches, to state the obvious.I always said I wouldn’t criticise Bowyer, but he’s lost the plot lately.
