He has to go back on 13th april but surely he has to be found guilty and then either remanded in custody or bailed until sentencing? or do you get sentenced straight away? if sentencing is at a later date then it should be after the seasons end in which case we can breathe easy.

Problem is Saints are away the night before at Rochdale, I can't see him playing in that game.

so what does that mean?
As I understand it Lee has to attend a court meeting in Southampton on April 13th where the CPS will decide whether to go ahead with the Crown Court case, if so then to settle a date for case to be heard. However the more I read about it the more confused I get!

Ok.If that is the case then he should be available for the rest of the season no matter what as these things take time so that's a relief.

I was charged with something that was on its way to Crown Court, although i knew i hadnt done what i was accused of it still very scarey.
the Police had an Eyewitness, several people who witnessed the events before and after but my statement differed to all the others account of what happened.

There was something like a pre-trial that happened were the police and everyone involved discussed what evidence could and couldnt be used, after this it got dropped to the Majestrates, I remember my Solicitor to change because it was going to be at a different court and he warned me altho the penalty would be less (as the charges had been reduced) there was probably more chance that i would be found guilty as its only 3 people (judges) who decide and not a jury.
I hope they have some CCTV footage and can weedle out the bullshitters that like to claim they saw everything.
in the end I got `Completely Exonerated` as the witness statements were not true, only my statement fitted the facts, so lets hope his jury can spot the facts and ignore the bull, if only the Police had looked better at the stories people were telling them a few days after the event it would have saved the taxpayer an awful lot of money and my worst 6 months of my life waiting for court dates.
Yes like the Murphys, I`m still bitter

Good luck LB, i do hope your not as guilty as people make out, and if guilty the punishment fits the crime.
