I had forgotten this thread but it does remind you of what a nasty bit of work SB3 was then, has he improved any since?

The Court Case should have commenced at Salisbury today but despite much Googling I cannot find any data on it, has anyone any ideas, details must be published somewhere.

hope you are right jdub, the only thing is that the morning after it happened my lecturer said he bottled someone and could go down. That was way back when it happened, but with it being refered to crown I think there is more chance he will have to go down. Hope not, will have everything crossed come 31st.

if it was your son that had been bottled would you still hope not that the person responsible dosnt" go down " just because there footballers dosnt give them the right to break the law then expect special treatment neither should fans

Also because he is a Celebrity (sort of) it shouldn't influence the outcome Guilty or Not, let justice prevail, if he is found Guilty suitable punishment must be meted out, if not there will be a lot questions about why it ever got this far don't you think?

Yep, let's not forget. Only the Queen gets away with everything, and many people know how I feel about that.

I think we're all hoping Lee is innocent, rather than just hoping he 'gets away with it.'

absolutely. If he is guilty, then the punishment must be appropriate to the level of the crime. If innocent, then we move on and Lee will have learned from a nasty experience about the perils of being a "known" person in the public eye.

That's a revealing read. I've always placed great importance in good spelling. For years I've flown in the face of public opinion which diluted the requirement for good spelling. Well, it just shows that it isn't always the masses who are right.

On another front: I have to say, those ingenious blokes [at the end of the article] who escaped, made me chuckle. One slimmed down from 11 stone to 8½ stone, and squeezed through a crack in a wall he carved out with a butter knife [shades of Shawshank Redemption there] and another made a box, got into it and mailed himself out of prison..! Now that's brilliant.

If he is guilty he deserves to go down and never wear a Saints shirt again.
