I don't have the solution

Going to home games or choosing to boycott - neither will impact their time of exit (IMHO)

You are right -posting rude insults on a weekly basis on some internet forum is also having no impact (crazy but true!)

I have heard in the last week two polar opposite versions of the situation at the club, both from trusted sources,

Scenario 1: old man wants to make a go of it, son says no,
Scenario 2 : old man wants rid, but son 'enjoys' the prestige of owning a football club and wants to keep it.

Fair dos.

Interestingly, in both scenarios, the old man seems to come out more favourably.

Is this some sort of romanticism, a way of further demonising the son by contrast? Or a narrative that bears some sort of truth?

Either way, 1 or 2, we’re scoobied in the doo.

Personally I don’t think the pair of ****s will go until they have ground the club into oblivion, just to pay back the vocal minority!

If as many people say they pull in 5 million a season servicing their loan, they only need to ensure the club runs without losing money (I know it’s easier said than done), and if they can do that why do they need to sell until the day of their own choosing, which I’m sure will be the day they just get bored and move onto hating someone else who didn’t agree with them or give them what they wanted.

I really hope I’m wrong with this as there are a lot of people who should be able to do whatever they wanted, without having to have an internal struggle with what they believe is right. I am lucky in that I spent many years going to watch City with my eldest son, and have many wonderful memories and we still talk about the matches we attended even though it’s 11 years ago since we emigrated. I feel for the dads who won’t have as many memories of times spent together watching a few blokes kick a bag of wind about.

Seriously......what do people think attendances will be next season, surely it will shrink. Average was 12k last year according to......

https://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-championship-2018-2019/1/
I'm sure attendances will fall further. Quite possibly significantly so. The Allams have this super power of pissing people off time and again. I suspect a fair few ended their membership at the end of the season, and since then theyve managed twice in a matter of weeks to piss off many more. Our support is becoming a laughing stock for those that don't really know the facts, but even so I really hope people walk away in their thousands.

Dunno where the truth lies, except possibly there is no clear direction and hasn't been for a while.

People assume the Allams devote a lot of time and energy to running HCFC - it seems they expend very little time and energy on it.

That's why we get these amateurish press releases every now and again, like EA's in the office (for once) and summat's got up his nose.

Dunno when he goes on his summer hols- hope he gets a manager in soon and and that he's available to sign the cheques before he goes to Sharm El Shake. None of this " I'm back the day after the transfer window closes" nonsense we've had in recent years.

With reference to boycotting, we have two well known and opposite models:-

- the Mike Ashley model where the ground is full every week, and he's still there after 11 years
- the Oyston model, where the ground is almost empty every week, and where he was still there (until Belokon sued him)

I doubt the effectiveness of boycotts of owners with double digit of triple digit millions to their name.

We are not talking about Martin 'Tiddler' Fish here.

I presume those not willing to give the Allams another penny, don't have a KCOM/BT/Sky account, don't watch City matches in a pub, don't buy any of the products advertised on TV when City are shown, don't buy a TV license, don't buy any product on the advertising boards at the KCOM, and boycott all products/services of City's sponsors. They'll also be boycotting away matches.

And certainly don’t allow a family member to use any of the cancer equipment at castle hill. Principles and all that

I have Freesat. I don't watch City matches in a pub, have no idea what products are advertised on TV when City are shown because I don't watch it. I have to buy a TV license, but don't know which products are on the advertising boards at the KCOM because I dont watch it. I don't know who are City's sponsors, other than Sports Pesa who I have nothing to do with (I don't bet). I also boycott away matches. Hope this helps

Will continue to attend and support the club and the players that pull on the City shirt through thick and thin (As I have since first going back in 1968).

We have just had what I consider to be a great season, far above all expectations. The football on the field has also been very enjoyable to watch.

The new 2019/20 season is surely going to give us what we all expected last season, a real dog fight, but I am up for it and will enjoy it (I think). Every point will be well earned and well celebrated. What will be interesting will be the new appointment, as presumably whoever takes the job will have to accept the same limitations that Nigel turned down, so whilst we will certainly not be looking at anyone like Pulis, we will be looking at someone who needs to get back into football, or possibly an appointment from a young assistant who wants to get into a managers position at this level.

The owners will leave when they are ready and not before and the club will continue. Who knows what the future holds in that regard, but the odds are that whoever takes over they are still likely to be villains. I respect the right of anyone who decides to not turn up and support the team, (for whatever reason) each to their own.

Best post this month !
I think people just like moaning !

It's down to £2m, they couldn't possibly pull £5m out of the coming seasons income.

I haven't been to the KC since the 6-0 win over Fulham in December 2013. I knew a lot of the **** that the Allams were doing at that point, but I attended a meeting before that match which made it clear to me the depths to which they were willing to plumb. They've more than done that. I miss it a lot, and I don't think it's done much good in truth in respect to how it might affect the Allams, but I haven't given them a penny in that time and I'm glad about that. And living in London, half of the away matches are easier for me to get to anyway. I'll continue to stay away from the KC until they depart. I've been lucky in life that I've encountered incredibly few people that I would say I 'hate'. I hate the Allams though. I hate seeing something I love being treated with such vindictiveness.

2m is still a fair old wack if they can keep the club operating at a profit (not including the servicing of the loan).

Do you think that’s enough to keep their nasty vindictive game going? You probably know far more than I do on what drives the twats.

I heard that 2000 had cancelled their membership since the vote with very few joining so crowds could well be sparse next season, unless something drastic happens like new owners.

They get money from away games

They don't get it from pay on the gate and it's only a handling charge of 5% on the tickets they do sell (which it costs them in staffing/printing etc), so realistically, they get nothing from away ticket sales.
Well if you want to look at it like that Richard can just think my ticket pays a steward for the afternoon at the kcom . Pick a steward any steward.
That steward is providing for his family, food on the table, roof over crippled child’s head etc etc
Welcome back everyone
