International law. You can't leave somebody stateless. She's not Syria's citizen and if they want her out, she comes to us.

Indeed. Imagine the ****storm if we tried to deport criminals and were told by their countries that they’d washed their hands of them so they’re our problem now.

If we reintroduce the death penalty for treason then it has to be reintroduced for other crimes like child rape and murder. I’d think it would be a bit daft to execute a 15 year old for choosing to become a baby factory for the enemy while letting someone who rapes and kills children to do a stretch inside.

Even terrorists. It’s not a problem we’ve had to deal with much recently as most terrorists in this country in recent years have been British. If we wanted to deport a foreign born terrorist and their country of birth said that they’d revoked their passport and they were our problem now then what do we do?

Why?
It was only taken off the table for treason in 1998 yet for all other crimes it has been abolished since 1965.
