Middle aged men rightly decrying terrorism and terrorist acts, but then wanting a woman who’s been been found guilty of nothing as it stands, tortured, killed, raped, her baby murdered etc etc. Moral high ground? Me thinks not.

The attitude towards her is similar to the values of those we are looking down on with such disdain, if we cannot look at this situation and do the right thing and not resort to the kind of horrific attitudes of groups like ISIS then we are no better.

Better fate than beheading with a blunt knife?
I know you were looking for some company last night and will now be sleeping it off so I'll answer now.

A lifetime of being raped day and night over being beheaded with a blunt knife? I don't know which is worse. Maybe someone could ask her what she'd prefer.

It is also the exact reaction IS wants and we are playing into their hands by doing this.

IS leaders will be pissing themselves about how we are getting our knickers in a twist about her.

And the more extreme/violent/reactionary our reaction is, the better, as far as they are concerned

Me, I just don't want her back in this country. I don't want her raped or killed or anything like that but I don't think she should be allowed back to live in our reasonably safe and prosperous country after turning her back on us and joining them scumbags in Syria. She made her bed...

That might not be an option to us though.

There's always a soldier who thinks the answer is to rape his way through a Village.

That'll teach them how to behave

A few on here are that soldier, just haven't had the opportunity

If Syria deport her, we'll have no choice but to take her back. So the question is, what do we do when she comes back?

I am often told that Islam is one great big "happy family" ,
where the creed trumps mere trivialities such as nation states.

Therefore I assume that there are myriad Islamic-based nations
who will welcome their fallen "sister" into their national fold.

So again, no problem (even if the Nederlands refuse to take her) .

Genuine Muslims hate ISIS. Why should a radicalised British national become the problem of another random country?

Don't always listen to what you're told...pretend the hacks are talking about Levy

1. Not a "random" country, one of the many Islamic-based nations.

2. If the girl is no threat as a UK resident, then surely tis less so if
she becomes a resident of any nation in 1.

Which Islamic nation? Should we open our arms to a foreign white supremacist who kills in the name of Christianity?

Not sure where the 'middle aged men' generalisation comes from or whether that is indeed an accurate reflection of views on here - more extreme reactions tend to be the prerogative of youth - as evidenced by the many young people that answered the call to go and fight for ISIS in the first place (whilst the hate preachers urging them to take up arms predictably remained very comfortably away from the front line).

Personally I'm not against second chances or forgiving the rashness of youth - but in this particular case, for me, that would very much depend on where her head is right now. She wholeheartedly rejected her country of birth for an ideology she obviously found extremely attractive. She would also have been fully aware that the young girls going out there were being earmarked for marriage to one of the "brave young fighters".

So what is her real motive for wanting to come back to the UK now? - if she has now seen the flaws in the ideology she once found so attractive and genuinely wants to be part of a 'broad church' society that won't ever be succumbing to the ISIS interpretation of Sharia law either by choice or force - fair enough - answer for any crimes, if they have been committed, and go on to contribute positively to society in some way.

But if the reality is that she still despises western society, intends to raise her son to hate it too and, in the interim, merely wants to take advantage of the generous social advantages paid for by UK tax payers ... then she has no place here.

The obvious problem is ascertaining her real mind set - but personally I would put it in the hands of a designated respected moderate Imam and have him question her and her attest to the truth of her words on the Quran.

Which Islamic nation?

Indonesia. Pakistan. Gulf region states. Islamic states in Africa etc.

Surely their hearts are moved by the plight of their fallen "sister" , looking for a nation
to call home if the horrible white Judeo-Christian culture of the UK (her nation of birth)
want to wash their hands of her.

"Should we open our arms to a foreign white supremacist who kills in the name of Christianity?"

Are ISIS foreign 'not-white supremacists' who kill in the name of Islam ??

Did I really want her little kid to be raped or murdered, or whatever it is that I said? Nah, that was the first line for affect.

Should we be doing anything to bring her back? Nope. Might we have no choice but to bring her back? Unfortunately.

What do we do when she comes back? Hang her from London bridge and let that send a message to any other moron that thinks that they can go and fight for enemies of the state and return without consequences. This country has gone far to liberal with it's softy softy approach.

I honestly think there's posters on here who would welcome her back as long as she said sorry <doh>

They kill in the name of their version of Islam. That doesn't mean all Muslims support what they're doing or want to volunteer to take on responsibility for people who joined ISIS. Your suggestion is nonsense and is tarring all Muslims with the ISIS brush.

You have not answered my question.
Are ISIS a 'NON-WHITE supremacist' group who kill in the name of Islam ??

My meagre understanding of ISIS is that they are a foreign ISLAMIC
supremacist group that kills in the name of Islam. But what (little) do I know ...

ISIS are a deranged bunch of murderers, of all colours, who have twisted Islam to suit their actions in the same way that a white supremacist who murders people in the name of Christianity is just a murderer using Christianity to justify their actions.

The Klan claim to be true Christians. Should we be sympathetic towards them because they're Christians?

The notion that because she's a Muslim she automatically becomes the problem of other Muslim countries, who don't support ISIS, is ridiculous.

Would that be the same/worse as a 'non-white supremacist' who murders
in the name of Christianity ??

I do think some things are getting overlooked in all this. In that she was nowt more than a 15 year old kid, at the time of her disappearance it was claimed in media sources via the police that no radicalisation had taken place, well i call that absolute bolloxs and i think the authorities of this country have ducked their responsibilities. The school Bethnal Green Academy, even changed it's name, why?

Three girls from that Academy went to Syria, at least four to five other girls were made wards of court. A girl the previous year had also gone to Syria, so that's at least nine kids.

We failed them! We either turned a blind eye to what was going on, maybe through fear of offending people or we are just utterly naive. Yeah we know the reasons she wants to return, we are a safe haven, the very haven she deserted. But she has grown in to a woman, one that has lost two children, the fact remains she is British, she has had an innocent new born in all this.

I'm not saying she hasn't done wrong, I'm not saying she shouldn't be answerable for any actions in the past four years, but maybe we need to take a closer look at ourselves and how the system in the country failed not just one child but many. We left her open to sexual exploitation, we left her open to things that a 15 year old should never experience or see.

I'm no supporter of this young girl, but we need to face up to our own responsibilities in all this and learn from it. And maybe start by tearing places like BGA until we find the answers.

They were 15 FFS!
