See, nothing about British Prisons. You need to find a better expert. It's a sign of how much you're struggling, when you try to use one of boring Stan's feeble fantasy's. :emoticon-0105-wink:

PS, is there any particular reason you didn't want to post Fawaz Gerges name.

He can't genuinely believe the guff he's posting, He's just trying to be contrary to WUM. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
Weird that every time people raise the topic of punishing the returning jihadists the British way with good old fashioned law and order .
When you press them on the court cases they go strangely quiet.

From the sounds of it all the people that went over to kill and rape have treated it like a holiday and returned with no consequences for their actions.

They try to claim 'innocent until proven guilty' but ignore that she admitted her crimes under the Terrorism Act.

The closest you have come to a Ph.D is managing to put on bicycle clip, so i'm sure that makes you better informed on prisons than him <applause>

Oh dear, you're reduced to that.

Fawaz Gerges will be so disappointed with his new found protege. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

His theory that we are less likely to have terrorist attacks if we invite more terrorists in seems a bit leftfield.

He does seem very qualified so I'll take his word for it though

Hence he knows a damn sight more about terrorism, war, refugee camps and immigration than you ever will. I've heard that Hull is Beirut but i think Gerges would counter argue that point quite successfully too.

Have you read much of his other writing, or did you stop when you found a Professor that you think supports your claim? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You may want to google the logical fallacy of an appeal to Authority. :emoticon-0105-wink:

By that logic Anthony Blair has a far more impressive CV including the position of Middle East Peace envoy.

So your uneducated attacks on him prove that you know nothing about the Middle East or the quest for peace .

Jihadists on pushbikes would play havoc with his fuzzy logic. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

For me during times of austerity and people living on the streets I would not want millions spent on this woman keeping tabs on her and lengthy expensive court cases resulting in a team of "experts" tasked with deradicalising her back into society .

The kid has done nothing wrong and was extended an invitation to be cared for in London but she declined as she's clearly hoping to guilt idiots into feeling sorry for her.

If she had any compassion she would give her baby the chance of a normal ish life in the UK.

Selfish nasty woman

Where're Lilly Allen or Rowling when they're needed?

It's okay taking his word, but be careful taking other people's interpretation of it, as many of his comments were about the children of the fighters, rather than the fighters themselves and his comments on her age were to express an opinion on the character of her husband. :emoticon-0105-wink:

What's even funnier in those headlines is that Begum is not even a Terrorist, but she's got the white men angry, very angry, because...she's a muslim, FACT.

Is that an actual fact or the sort of fact that you made up, like Blair and Bush created Al Qaeda? Just curious.

Al Qaeda came about in 2004. Saddam Hussein was toppled in 2003. Don't get me wrong Saddam was brutal, and was responsible for thousands of deaths, however, Blair and Bush were responsible for even more deaths than Saddam by removing him from power in Iraq. Firstly due to the conflict and secondly due to the consequences. It's reckoned that 460,000 people died due to the Blair and Bush intervention. It is said that as a consequence AQI was formed by the minority Sunni's who believed they were being persecuted by the Shiite's, despite holding dominance under Hussein. However, two years after the forming of AQI, the US involvement once again, took out their leader Zarqawi. This death resulted in a new leader who created what is now known as IS the Islamic State. But things were to get worse, much worse...due to the Americans once again, who were just not learning from the fooking mess they had already created, I could add a narrative that they really wanted to unstable the area, well they succeeded! This time the US killed Masri, opening the door to Baghdadi, this resulted in Civil War in Syria. So yes, I believe due to the unstabling of the area by US and UK forces, this resulted in the creation of the terror groups we have today and maybe go some to explain why it upset so many muslims in Britain and many other countries, that they felt the necessity to go and fight.

If you was referring to the 357% media attention, then yes, that is fact, referring to American soil only.
