Seeing as the stats from the past few games, where we'd lost heavily, showed that we'd dominated possession, created good chances and conceded sloppy goals (on the basis of xG), the basic stats from the game can be considered very encouraging. They suggest that we were much more clinical in front of goal and much tighter at the back than in the last few weeks.I didn't watch the game but the stats at home are a bit of a concern.
Only two shots on target and possession/passes.
Obviously the win is important and hopefully builds confidence.
What was the consensus on how well/bad we played ?
