Rumour has it that Laudrup has fallen out with Huw Jenkins and that relationships have turned particularly sour. Opinion may be split, it may be too early to tell, but that anyone could better Rodgers achievement took exceptional management and to win a trophy - quite outstanding. For me, this guy is going to be one of the brightest stars of managements future and I just wondered if even the Pardew-ites and sympathisers would take a different view if perhaps NUFC had been unsettling him and were considering an approach? I just think if they were going to get rid of him they'd have done it by now, the season is over and everyday Pardew remains in charge is a day more preparation that's gone in to next season with him as our manager which for me means that they've backed him for next season at least (and probably longer).
