I really like it, but my wife (she has the 435 BMW) keeps saying it's an old mans car and asking if I want pipe and slippers. I just tell her I'm more sophisticated than a BMW driver.
I suspect you will look at the CLA if you went C class as that's more sporty, similar front end to the A Class and same floor plan with a boot, but I only liked the AMG kit one and they wasn't on offer when I got mine.
Mine has the full toys, but I paid to get the rear windows tinted and should of went limousine tint as mines just not quite dark enough only because it's a dark grey colour car, but looks so much better than without tinting. Apart from that the only thing I would change in it would be the sat nav, looks cartoony compared to the BMW.
IMO better drive than the BMW but if you want sporty then the BMW is better, as they are set up for faster drive, mines same speed but more of a cruiser. **** me I am getting old

I don't know what it is but I just dont like bmws... Mercs look a lot sexier! The lights and grill really stand out where as the bmws are all the same. Only trouble is I want a manual, but was watching a video and the bloke was saying you have a special clutch or something so when you're on a hill it can be really jumpy? So seems auto is the best option. This will be the one I get but want it in white. Has to be 3 door!

Then you want the A Class, go for the AMG edition that is the sporty one. The others you don't notice as they are plain.
I have auto's, as my wife can't use the clutch due to a knee op now since about 2010. I drove a manual the other month and to be honest I ****ing hated it.
Once you go auto you won't go back, you might say you will but once you're in a manual in slow traffic you will be crying for an auto again.

I love driving manual. That is how you're suppose to drive! I like the a class but they don't do it in 3 door.... Which is a bit of a negative. The c class coupe in auto will do nicely! Not going for AMG though, double the ****ing price! I know it's better but not to bothered at the moment. Just want my private plate now! Requested one and still haven't heard anything back.... AMG which is expensive
AMG spec which is just the look alike, that is the one I mean. I'm sure they do two door in A Class.
Always thought that about manuals v autos but trust me once you're used to auto and not slamming yourself into the windscreen every time you break you will find it great. Whack it into sport mode and the ****ers fly as they change at optimum level so you get better acceleration.
