Sadly true of the majority of players who have moved on from Charlton in the last ten years, unless I'm mistaken.
 
Apologies, I'm going to be a bit quieter than usual for a few weeks.
A very old, very close family friend has passed away.

Not unexpected in some ways, but still very sad for myself and the folks at home. One of the best I ever knew is gone, and the World is a poorer place today.
Such is life I suppose.

Sorry to hear it, Lardy. The older you get the more this happens.

My problem is I talk a lot of bo**ocks, and think I can get away with it if I use some long words.
The first notion that occurs to me becomes something I have to defend long after it is exposed as obviously daft.
Then I get upset about it - but only with myself really, for falling into the same trap for the nth time.

Well, not quite the bright start to 2026 that I was hoping for.

Looks like I'm going to be homeless fairly soon.

Will know more in a few days.
Once I know how this is going to play out, I might have to ask for someone else to take over the moderator's job.
