SA - do you sit down with your Mrs and fondly remember how good in bed those old girlfriends who dumped you were? It is probably worth pointing out to her what a good contribution they made to your experiences in that department; I'm sure she'd understand

Oh god no FLT, she would cut off my privileges!!.....<yikes>...<laugh>

But to expand on your analogy, if I met a girl when I was down and out and in the gutter and she helped to pull me up by my bootstraps and put me back on my feet and stayed with me all throughout "the bad days" despite being courted by more successful men and gave me very many great memories, then yes I would always have a place in my heart for that girl even if she did treat me a bit shabbily when we broke up....:emoticon-0100-smile

I hope they both fail miserably and suffer the wrath of constant abuse from the Kop as well as being labelled 'flops' for eternity. Other than that I am over them :)

But what if you helped her get that dream job and then she fell for a colleague and ran off to live with him at his place up north? You'd despise her and really hope she wasn't successful and thnk she was a tart :)

But if she hadn't have left me, I never would have met that sexy eastern European babe who is better in bed than she was!
Every cloud and all that....

What's this obsession with the fortunes of our ex players?...Adam has moved on, deal with it.
We "nicked" him from Bournemouth for nothing, got 7 years service from him in which he helped us to the top half of the Premiership from League 1, then sold him for £25m, money which has helped us to build possibly an even stronger squad than before.
I'm pretty ambivalent to how he plays for Liverpool, but I will be be hoping that he does well for England, as that will be reflected in the fortunes of the National Team.

Almost 'nothing'…...

Lallana was ok last night. He doesn't look fit yet and obviously isn't best used out right. He'll be good when fully fit and slotted into the diamond with Sturridge etc.

Still had a few decent touches, did his trade-mark drag back thing a few times and had two shots blocked in the box which would've given us the lead. It's a case of more to come I think.

You are probably right...if he is given time by the fans. Easy to end up the scapegoat when this season doesn't go as well as last season.

I am grateful for the time that we got out of Lallana and only wish him well at Liverpool. Cant be doing with holding grudges - all this t...beard stuff makes me shake my head in dismay. However i hope that Lallana fails miserably if he is in the team when we play Liverpool in the future, and inside a football stadium i will certainly be giving him stick for 90 minutes along with the rest of us !

A lot of the people sat near me on Saturday obviously hadn't heard the "Dušan Tadić" version of the "He plays on the left..." song before and appeared delighted at the last line.

A real shame that he will get little affection from the fans after all those years and not jumping ship during the darkest days.
But he has brought it on himself so tough.

I think the fact that he has even ruffled the feathers of the most even-handed, level headed of Saints supporters goes some way to revealing how badly the general feel is about Lallana [sorry, Twatbeard]. I'm sure there are one or two out there who have reasoned out their angst about his move by now, but the majority are still a bit pissed off. His initial failure at Liverpool and Saints ability to make giant strides without his magical Cruyff turns, is going some way to easing the tension. But I can hear the rehearsal boos already for when Liverpool come to St Mary's. All I can say is, it would probably be better if he has another groin strain during his pre-match warm-up. :)
