Have just read on newsnow web site we have agreed a fee with Spurs for 22 year old full back Kyle Naughton.:emoticon-0104-surpr
QPR tried to loan him and we stole him:bandit:Anyone know any more:1980_boogie_down:
Sound realistic to me<ok>

I mentioned him a while back. I believe he got in to championship team of the year, beating our own Russell Martin (although holt and hoolahan were already in so prob political)

Seems a player, we'll see I guess.

Any time we can pip QPR
Is good, and an up-coming star,
Kyle Naughton could be
So let´s hope to see
Him join, and then watch him go far. OTBC

This would be one heck of a signing though, how could we drop martin after the season hes had or get a player of naughtons calibre in just to sit on the bench, this one just doesnt make sense to me.

You can say that about other positions as well.

RM's had a great season for sure, but it's all about competition in every area.

One thing i would say is, "norwich have agreed a fee" but its a toss up on twitter, some saying a loan deal and others saying weve agreed a fee! is this a fee for a loan cause if it is i would say were wasting our money personally...

I agree, everything written about him is very positive. Voted for by the fans and the footbal league, lets hope there is more news soon. Nice run out for the boys in Germany, sound like target practice. Better when they play against some real opposition, be able to make a more realitic judgement on the squad.!!!

Yeah, im looking forward to getting to see them in action for the first time next thursday at southend. Though only friendlies when you get them against teams like southend they will be up for a battle and get to see a much more concrete performance from the guys if you know what i mean...We also start to see who lambert has eyes on most for the starting XI places.

I agree with holt's boots that this would seem an odd (but quality) signing. Mind you, if PL has had Naughton in mind for a while it would explain why he has been talking about De Laet exclusively as a CB despite the fact he played most of last year as a RB.

he'd be a great signing - and i'd fancy him to take the starting right back role after a while...just whether its a loan or permanent - hopefully permanent, because i could see this guy having a storming season - also, i am increasingly confident we will get lansbury...and hopefully permanently...the lack of an arsenal statement saying he isnt going anywhere and that arsene rates him, is probably a telling one...
