You're so right about double standards PLT, you're the worst for it by a million miles. A very honest self observation from you there.

You just posted about a missed chance from Graham, complete with a full description to make it sound as shocking as possible, yet when questioned can't even deny that you made it up. Yet I'm the one with the double standards?

On second thoughts, you're thicker than pig **** <laugh>

I've been very abusive the last few days. That was the sitter koren awfully missed compared to the chance he would have had if greedy bastard had of passed, the comparison you made, where you justified Sagbo's thousand yard glory shot by saying Koren would have missed the one on one because he missed the very difficult chance he picked up in the rebound.

I never even mentioned Graham...

Oh I see. Fair enough then, my mistake.

I don't want this to come across as a big Koren hate thing. I used to think he was great, now I think he offers very little. I'm thankful for what he did in his first two years with us, but he's not the same player any more and like with Evans and McLean, we've moved on.

Meh, I'd say this was pretty abusive. It's hardly constructive criticism

"Constructive criticism"

Fuckadoodledoo, is he on Not606 looking for advice or something?

Constructive criticism is what you give to children who're struggling with their GCSE English coursework, not 33-year-old footballers who are well past their best.

Koren was excellent for us in 2010/11 and 2011/2012, but for most of the past 18 months he's been a liability. If I could offer him a constructive criticism it'd be that he should leave so we can free up a few grand in wages.

He seems a decent bloke and I still love him because he's a Hull City player, but he has little to offer now we're a Premier League side.

And before some clever arse mentions his two goals against Fulham, a half-decent 45 minutes against such poor opposition is the exception that proves the rule. One swallow does not a summer make.

Surely that depends on who's doing the swallowing.

Wasn't he our top scorer last year?
Being top scorer doesn't make you an amazing player. Fryatt was our top scorer season before and isn't really that good. Geovanni was our top scorer in the prem but was very ineffective for a lot of the time he was on the pitch.

Kinell, you must hate us.....

From what Brucey says about him he should still have another season or two left in him, I wouldn't let him go until we've got a replacement - he offers us something's different in midfield, quicker tempo pass & move, makes dangerous runs, supports the striker, offers goal threat from range and in the box - but if he wants to go elsewhere to play more in his final years I wouldn't particularly mind too much.

Aluko played in midfield rather than as competition to our 2 or 3 other strikers?

I personally think if he ends the season with us and then moves in the summer both teams can be happy with how things turned out. For a free transfer he was a great signing, none of us honestly thought he would come to us at the time he did. If he goes he goes as someone who has done a huge amount to drag our club from when it was a huge downward spiral.

This as well. I actually think he's the best signing we've made in my memory relative to the position we were in when we signed them. With Bullard, irrespective of how it turned out it was always that he joined us because we offered more than anybody else was going to. I'd be amazed though if Koren didn't have bigger and better offers made to him over the summer before we approached him as a club that could go bust any day. Prior to that I think getting Whitmore and Goodison not long after they'd played (and scored in TW's case) in the World Cup was the best we'd done.

Ray Parlour's short term contract a few seasons ago was IMO the most important we've made bacause it saved us going down the League 1 and gave us some class which showed us as a club looking up rather than down
