This better not be true like.
Can't see it anywhere online. Not sure if he's being a little tinker or not.

Nads it's been like this since I started following Sunderland in 63-64 - frustrating and emotionally traumatic- nearly (not quite) at PTSD level - need to be patient on the journey - at least we are not bored silly of being successful -Regardless, he has EARNED a new deal, he has been immense from day one. 'Ooh look we have a saleable asset lets cash in and go back to square minus ****ing 8'.
Tinpot ****ing club with this mug running the show. This plus Yann, nowhere to ****ing hide Ellis.

until then
It's starting to look like a done deal.
If so and not for the first time by any means, I'm really questioning if supporting SAFC is worth the angst. This after over 65 years.
We get lucky.
We sign a very good player for a bargain price.
He is a SUCCESS in every way, being the main difference in our escaping relegation.
In fact he is just the sort of player we SHOULD be building a side round. The sort of side that Isn't in a perpetual relegation fight.
So we are looking to sell him for about £16mil, (That the figure on this site---http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/08...mine-kone-answer-deadline-by-everton/299209/? )
An £11mil profit, at least on paper. Less when the cost of a replacement is factored in.
A £100+mil loss if we go down.
To be honest the amount maters little, it's what such a move signifies that would bother me most.
It would show a complete lack of ambition.
Still, none of this has happened yet. It MAY just be Press speculation.
We could find a half decent replacement and scrape survival by finishing 4th from bottom or possibly go down, or we could keep Kone who we know has a solid partnership with Kaboul and we know he'll chip in with a few goals for us and we could finish mid table.
Every place is worth a couple of million so wed get almost the Kone fee back by our final league position.

STOP talking sense man![]()
Short and his team are not bothered were we are in the league. We could find a half decent replacement and scrape survival by finishing 4th from bottom or possibly go down, or we could keep Kone who we know has a solid partnership with Kaboul and we know he'll chip in with a few goals for us and we could finish mid table.

So we've got two players above our level both making it public they want to be Sunderland players. Why? Because us fans got under their skin. We've done all the ****ing hard work on these players, we've ****ing landed them for the club and they're both prepared to commit. Yet the club can't or won't close the deals. The club's slip is showing yet again. It's ****ing embarrassing and getting insulting to our fan base.
I actually think we are capable of finishing mid table if we keep him and sign a striker.
City have spent Millions trying to find a solid central defence partnership. Weve got one, ok maybes not to the high standard of Citys expectations but i cant see why we should break ours up!
Ellis Short was only ever in it for the resale value, he bought it from a load of desperadoes and only ever saw it as a profit. It wouldn't surprise me if the extra TV revenue money was used to pay his loans off before the big sale. He saw how his mate Randy Learner ****ed up, there was no way he was going to do the same.
His Legacy will be having Beyonce sing at the SOL, I will remember him as a man who shafted our club big style..
Looks like we will have none of the fore mentionedI put exactly the same on a previous thread...
M'Vila, Kone, Striker & RB and I could see us being 10th![]()

I thought Coleman was a big fan of Van Dijk. He fought tooth and nail to get him to Southampton, im suprised he hasnt tried to tempt him over to Everton with him?
