.. I think it's more supporters of other teams (including Watford) who perhaps feel we got what we 'deserved' for some 'simulation' from Knocky that in the end backfired .. the ref gave it so really any criticism over whether it was or wasn't a pen should rest with him.

IUTBJF and Fosse make some really valid points.

When AK played at our gaff I was very impressed. The last three or four times I've seen him on the box he's been poor, sometimes really poor.

The way his form had declined reminds me of Ben Marshall, who if memory serves me right was a world beater( according to some of you) last season.

I get the impression he thinks he is better than he actually is and needs to get back to basics. He certainly doesn't look good enough for a big team to come in for him.

    As for the penalty?

Yes there was contact( football is a contact sport) but he dived so justice was done in the end.IMO.

I'm lost how anyone can compare Morgan getting sent off to what happened yesterday as well. The two incidents were totally different and dragging that up shows certain people are clutching at straws to justify AK diving.

Anyway good luck for next season, we may well come straight back down and you might replace us.

    Who knows?

    As for those slagging off Steve Bruce;

On paper you probably had a better squad this season but your manager isn't in the same league as ours. That is a stone cold fact.
When Pearson goes I reckon you'll do alright.

    Enjoy Doncaster.

Hull fan here in peace and not to boast. As a neutral watching the Watford game, even i was watching with nerves and it was a great advert for the championship. the ending was an amazing ending to a football match but obviously will be a hard pill to swallow for you guys, but if you play like that next season you shouldn't have any problems, but the championship is a funny place to be, that's why i personally will miss it. I was hoping you won for a couple of reasons, firstly because i dont believe it is right the way Watford have so many loan players as many people have discussed over the season but also because with the rivalry created between our two teams due to the whole Pearson saga, would have been nice to have a team to have rival banter with all season but hopefully you get promoted next season and we avoid relegation and will see you in 2014.

Cheers clg101 - I'm sure there will still be some banter between the boards next season but, as you say, it would be nice to both be in the same division and that to be the Prem! Good luck next season irrespective.

This is true and something that the "got what we deserve" brigade seem to want to overlook. Justice was done to us because the ref made a bad call (in their minds)? That's twisted logic at best. Did Knocky go down easy? Yes. Why? Because that's what players are taught to do, especially on the continent. Was their contact? Yes, no question. Watford players were tumbling in the box throughout both legs sometimes with no contact. Difference was, the ref didn't bite. That hardly makes them holier than thou does it?

Bit of light hearted banter mate, no offence intended.

I genuinely wanted you boys to come up but the margins between success and failure are very small indeed.

Good luck for next season and if you can keep most of your decent larkers you will be there or thereabouts.

Got to say how wrong I was about James as well.

Looks a real find and will only get better.
