I saw Pavement at a secret gig at the Adelphi and Stephen Malkmus came on in a tiger hat.He also owned a racehorse called Hull City Tiger, but is opposed to the name change!Steve West ,Pavement's drummer, is in a band with ex-members of Hull band Salako. Some of Pavement's road crew were from Hull too.

Richard turner rings a bell but cannot picture. James Lunn paul Hogarth Mike Armstrong were from my year do they ring a bell

Richard had his leg broken really badly playing football at school, he was in a wheelchair for ages. I hung around with quite a few South Cave lads, Alan Eltringham, Nick Mellor and James Beetham and Matthew Rockett (the geography teachers son).

Yes those names I know.

Sometimes see Mr Silvester on the way to City games. Ms Young works at the BP garage off the A63 on route to Newport/Gilberdyke.

4th and 5th year we had Mrs Taylor - in Eastdale. The best form room and form teacher. The whole year looked on in envy as the form teachers and rooms were announced. :1980_boogie_down:

Myles the basist was my best mate All through elloughton primary school and in the same class as me at hunsley. Not seen him for years now though
Thats because he is Myles away no doubt? Sounds like a bit of a posh boy with a name like that. I met all of Kingmaker at Hull Station once, my sister was a fan of them and I ended up talking to them for a while with her, not my cup of tea though was more into Iron Maiden and Megadeth

Now it makes sense.

vaguely remember her I think. The whole year looked on in fear as Fothergill's class was announced.

I had Mrs Maltby first few years and then Mr Chambers. Mr Silvester was my favourite teacher, always had stories about playing for Yorkshire and Spurs reserves, drove a Capri if I remember rightly. Mr Greendale was ok too. Had Mr Routledge for science I seem to remember.

Were you from South Cave Suited? I was from Ferriby, hung around with Nick Mellor and Alan Eltringham and played at Springhead Boys.
