Even Burge offers more than those 3, you have to admit Burge has been involved in more goals than them this season

Once again wasn’t brought on today, despite coming on against Hull and providing two quality crosses that nearly won us the game. LJ needs to get a ****ing grip and put the team first. It’s getting embarrassing now and will ultimately cost us come the end of the season.

definitely summat adrift with Maguire like, he would surely have been a good sub to bring on yesterday, God knows we needed someone with a bit of skill & experience out there. LJ being naive again lost us points.

He’s being stubborn mate. He’s got it in for Maguire, very similar to what Parkinson did with Mcgeady, but instead of isolating him completely, he’s benching him and not bringing him on to prove his point. It’s going to cost us promotion.

    What a surprise <doh>

"Lincoln City have suspended striker Chris Maguire after he was charged with breaching betting rules by the Football Association.

It is alleged that the 33-year-old placed 52 bets on football matches between March 2017 and February 2022."

I think the only positive thing I can say is that I have almost forgotten he played for us already. We are light years away, thankfully, of debating whether Maguire should play.

He gave us some good moments in a dark time but thank Christ we’ve moved on from that sort now, the difference from the Lincoln semi final team to now is night and day

No a rigged game with a deliberate own goal so both teams scored in the first half, college football

If we can't be sure the game we're watching is fair then it's worthless.

Anyone who earns money from the game, while knowingly damaging it's integrity, should face severe penalties.

Maguire seems to prefer gambling to making more money by maximising his talent.

    Absolute scum in my opinion.

Smug, I remember in the sixties, three Sheffield Wednesday players and an ex Scottish player jailed and banned from football for life for match fixing and betting on games.
Our law is precedent, so depending on the circumstances Maguire could be looking at a bit of time inside not just a ban sine die.

Mind, though he was defended on here and elsewhere by us at times, we were warned by the Bury fans when he signed here that he was a bad lot!

I was only a very small kid so can't remember. But from what I've read, I think one of those two would have been in line to play in the 1966 world cup. All for a few quid!
