If you check out trains in or out of King’s Cross for the 23rd that you could get for the match all that are left are over £200 in first class. We have them all. There would be non left for Boro fans.
I got my tickets Monday night. Hoping it would be a 3.00 or 4.00pm ko.
4.30 ko I want it done in 90 minutes. If, and right now, seemingly a big "if", it goes ahead that date and time.

Not really, I was trying to help with some ideas. Im fine ive booked hotels for several days pal. Hope you get sorted
I have tickets. Looking on the LNER website, it appears possible to change the return journey to Sunday. But can I do it as they ko in extra time? Accommodation won't be a problem.

Different Venue? Has to be played before players report for international duty.

The 4.30 KO time is a possible nightmare scenario. Extra time and leg it quick back to Kings Cross, missing penalties if needed. The trains after the 9.00pm departure are overnight specials, getting you back to Hull 9.45am.

Like you, I am hoping it just means a change to Boro.
Not sure what youre looking at but there are 3 trains after 9pm to Doncaster from kings cross that would get you there in plenty of time for the last train to hull which is 23:18. And loads after 8pm too.

I didnt think it sounded right so ive just checked on trainline.

For the 2014 semi final, I had to leave 5 mins before the end to make sure I got the train back on time. For the 2016 play off final, it took 90 minutes to get from the ground back to King’s Cross - again not leaving a lot of time before the train.

This time we are staying over so no rush at the end of the game (assuming it still goes ahead in the Saturday)

I have just checked on Trainline. Did you put Hull as the destination? And Saturday 23rd? I am getting the same rsults on Trainline as I did with LNER.

20:00, 20:03, 20:09, 20:40, 21:03, 21:06 al get you to Donny in plenty of time.

Bloody 4.30 kick off !! I’d hoped no later than 4 as my train back LNER was 7.40 . I’m now another £250 deep !there are 4 of us , changing to a later train departing at 9pm to York . So over £600 ! This game better be bloody played !!!!! Whole situation is so annoying
So,are these train tickets non-refundable as they're booked at short notice? It's asking a lot of people to take this leap of faith given it's all still hanging in the balance...But damned if you do,damned if you don't!!!

I had booked a one way flight from Glasgow to Luton and fortunately it's only £48.99,so I'm not in too deep(though it's essentially non refundable because it's £49 to amend).I had a look at a return flight last night and it's £85 but same scenario...non refundable and would involve a Hotel booking.

I've ended up booking a seat on a national express coach from London Victoria to Glasgow(8 hr's 40 minutes journey time) and it was £75 but if you paid another £4 you can cancel up to 24 hrs before the journey. That gives me some security if this spygate carry on develops further.

I use the trains a lot but from memory I don't think they do any sort of top up cover should you be forced into cancellation?

It seems to me that we are the innocent victims in this sorry affair and all of us are being expected to gamble with our finances...What a shocking way to be treated when we've done nothing wrong here!!

It'll all be down to TV. Absolutely no reason why it can't kick off at 3pm whoever who is playing who. If this City team weren't such a likeable team I don't think I give a **** about football anymore. Money ruining the game. PL is **** really. It's full of cheats and all about athleticism rather than exciting attacking football. Feel a bit Meh about the World Cup. Thank god for City though.

You can amend train tickets, if you book on train pal you can often amend them for no fee, just the difference in price. Trainline also lets you refund an unused ticket for a 10% admin fee. Think train pal does the same too but never had to use it on there yet.

Mrs Jim specifically asked her manager yesterday and he said Hull Trains would refund people for this. It would be a publicity nightmare if they refused so anyone with Hull Trains tickets dont need to worry, they will be fine to get a refund or change to another date.

I know with LNER you can amend a journey(think it's £10 plus any difference) but thankfully I've never had to use the option. The only dealings I've had with them over the years is delay&repay and I've had full refunds galore for delayed over an hour journeys:emoticon-0104-surpr

Update from Mrs Jim (she comes home and feeds me info now when she first walks in the door. She seems pleased ive suddenly taken an interest in her job)

Because so many people will struggle to get that 7pm train they are doing something with a Lumo (yeah me neither) which will allow them to ferry a ton more people to Doncaster where a Hull trains service will be waiting to take people to Hull.

I know its vague but basically theyre going to do what they can to put extra units onto the special which will allow for many more people to ride.
