Always the booze's fault! What's Z like, I've never tried one. I use Hilton ( or any of the brands under their umbrella ) for all my work travels, so build up a hell of a lot of points and just use them for things like this and holidays
Cheap and cheerful mate. Great locations in London, free cheese and wine club every week day which is usually a good way to pass an hour if you're not rushing around and they are always around the £80 to £100 a night mark usually. Bedrooms are clean, modern but basic. I havent a bad word to say about them. The Holburn one is really good too.

I am down pretty much every 2 or 3 weeks so I try and keep a lid on what I'm spending on them as it is all coming out of my earnings now I dont have someone elses expenses card!!

Haha I'll miss the expenses card once it's gone!

I live in Sheffield and am going direct to St Prancas. There is direct trains to Sheff from Hull. Mine cost £82 return. Don’t know how much now?
Its a bit of a loop hole for those in Hull struggling with Hull Trains. Try getting an LNER from York or Donny and then get a rattler to York or Donny first. Hull Trains will be rammed and expensive now, but there is nothing to suggest the Scotland and Newcastle trains passing through should be busy so try going via York or Donny, even Sheffield like you have said.

.... and then pray that Boro don't get re-instated!!
Although I'm hoping they do (unless we just get awarded the final, which isn't going to happen).

Just as a guide on train pricing done a bit of up and downing on hull to kings cross in the past year. Average is about 50 quid one way booked about a week in advance, sometimes bought a real paper ticket in hull paragon sometimes through Trainline. No discount railcard, no concession.

I did think of that when typing but its so unlikely I'd be booking via York or Donny if i was a fan needing travel now.

I did mine pre season, optimistic for sure, but I used points and the rate I got was extremely good and can cancel upto the day before so win win...

Checked just now and it's quadruple the amount I used.
I play the long game.

Moved in to a place in Aldgate in 2004, prescient of the forthcoming regular appointments for HCAFC at Wembley.

Aldgate is the start of the Metropolitan Line. By Google Maps a 48 minute trip door to door.

You have to think long term . Smug bastard!

Z Hotel is Shoreditch is cheaper than I paid, because nobhead over here put down adult and child instead of just a room for myself. Its the same room sharing a double bed, they just charge more when you say more people are in there. Must have been leathered.
I stay at The Courthouse when I'm staying in Shoreditch, lovely hotel and you can pop across to The Bike Shed for breakfast.

By the way, you can get discounted railcards with Tesco points and anyone in receipt of PIP can get a disabled railcard which can be used for 30% discount for yourself and any +1.

Memories of Shoreditch. Browns and Commercial Street were always entertaining.
I still go in Brown's from time to time. One of the girls is from Goole and went out with a lad I coached at Fev. I go in and see her now and again if im passing and she's on.

I was in somewhere called 'Trapeze' next to Hoxton on Sunday until about 2:30am. Felt rough at the game Monday night.

I've kindly been offered a lift down on Friday and Back on Sunday but that isn't going down well with the Mrs as she thought it would be there and back in a day
Just do it she will want some decorating doing and that will be longer than any Friday til Sunday

Me and the old man have managed to get a hotel quite close to Wembley way with parking for £125 a room. Only singles but says its got double beds in them so didn't think that was too bad. Driving down and aiming to get there around 10 to soak up the atmosphere...... assuming its a 3 KO!
