Won't make it over in the end - the time old classic of dog chewed my passport (and had no idea I couldn't just use my Aussie one) - but sounds like we'll have 30-40 City supporters at the pub in the city, the biggest turn out since the FA Cup final.
Apparently rules changed in Feb, dual citizens (Irish or UK) cannot use an ETA to travel with their secondary passport, they have to use their Irish/UK passport. Which seems ****ing ridiculous.

Kind of crazy right? If my Irish passport is damaged or expired, I can't travel to the UK despite having a valid Aus passport, but my wife who only has an Aus passport has no issues. Not sure why the status of my Irish passport should matter other than that if I want to travel on my Aus passport I abide by the requirements for Aus citizens - i.e. obtain an ETA.
It's crazy that you can't do it when it's obvious you want to, administration and laws have got a lot to answer to.
It's fine, ultimately it's a win-win. Either we go up in which case who the **** cares, we're up, and if we don't go up I've saved myself 3k and a **** round trip.

Yeah but you need a certificate of entitlement which is like $600AUD and takes 10 weeks to get.
