Hahaha, I think she probably gets by not knowing how her life would be with a random mackem with a face like a hobbits elbow.
Although I guarantee she'd enjoy the evening, I'm a decent entertainer haha
She sounds like a biscuit..

She'd look like one by the time I was done ha
Wet and drippy or stale and slighty green
I've actually no idea where I was going with that one. Ha.
In my head, I want to leave. I am open to listening to offers and projects and above all I am looking for a project that allows me to kick-start and enjoy life on the pitch… My priority is to stay in the Premier League.
This is a pattern that keeps repeating. Talented foreign player signs for SAFC, shows how good he is for a bit, goes off the boil, gets dropped for someone with half the ability but a bit more work rate, talented foreign player decides he wants to leave. Not every foreign player can have a bad attitude. I'd like to know why this keeps happening.

I have a picture of you in my head and the face of a hobbits elbow certainly isn't in it![]()
You would think I'd have gotten that! The water in the north east has addled my brain! I'll have to get myself back to YorkHaha, that was just for comedic effect in the moment mate![]()

But then the same must apply to British Isles players and it doesn't. Or at least not to the same extent. Plus, this pattern reaches further back than Short's reluctance to spend. To some extent, it may be that we can't attract top drawer foreign signings but I think there may be more to it.They don't. But when your owner is starting to reduce the spending as prices go up you tend to get left with 3 choices. Crooks, OAPs and arseholes. Now look at our transfer business in recent seasons. That's what's happened imo.

I'm not saying it's a race (nationality would be more accurate) thing. Like you say, any footballer can have a bad attitude. I meant that using the logic that we can only sign foreign OAPs, crocks, or arseholes would indicate that we can only sign British players of the same stamp. Which isn't wholly the case.Ha, went into this on Com's follow up thread on this subject. Gibson, Bardsley, Wickham, Bent, Aj? It does imo. I don't think it's a race thing, I think it's a spoiled culture thing that no nationality is immune to. Of course it's going to look like one is worse than the other when you're comparing the tiny British isles to the massive entire rest of the planet. This country has seen a lot of overseas players pass through. Most model professionals.
