Honesty proschwitz will be better than doyle would be next season

I hope we don't get Doyle and then say we can't afford Huddlestone, then i will be pissed off.

You wont be the only one mate. ;)

Celtic is the perfect club for Kevin Doyle.
Alloa - Corrected for you.

Extreme Extreme. The point being that scottish football is where Kevin Doyle belongs. FACT. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Again without any doubt.

It's interesting all the papers talking about this, the bookies have Celtic as 4/7 favourites and aren't even offering odds on us. Leeds 8/1 and Wigan 33/1 are the only other teams they're offering on without asking for odds. It can't be that we're so sure of getting him because 4/7 would be terrible for a counter offer beating us.

We're also currently:

4/9 - Huddlestone (Sunderland 7/2, Cardiff/Fulham 4/1)
4/6 - Jenas (Besiktas 7/4 the next team)
9/2 - Cattermole (Fulham 1/3, then Middlesbrough 9/1)
7/1 - Le Fondre (Fulham 2/1, WBA 4/1)
15/2 - David Bentley (Espanyol 7/4, a few other clubs ahead of us)
8/1 - Crouch (QPR 10/11, West Ham 15/2)
10/1 - Joey Barton (Everton @evens, Marseille 2/1, Wigan/Newcastle 10/1)
10/1 - Shay Given (QPR 6/4, Doncaster 3/1, Celtic 8/1)
14/1 - Jay Bothroyd (Middlesbrough 6/1, a few clubs at 16/1)
16/1 - Raheem Sterling (West Ham 4/5, a few teams at 14/1)
16/1 - Shaun Maloney (Everton 2/1, a few teams 8-12/1)
16/1 - Luciano Becchio (Middlesbrough 8/1, Leeds 10/1, Huddersfield 16/1)
25/1 - Darren Bent (Fulham 4/7, then a ****load of teams I'm not listing ahead of us)

I'm liking the odds on Huddlestone, not so much on Jenas. What I think we can safely say though is that if at 10/1 you've got us signing another keeper, and Joey Barton going back to Newcastle then it probably means any odds longer than that are purely random connections.

Odd other connections, Billy Sharp's top 5 clubs sees Sheff Wednesday and a Donny return sitting ahead of moves to New York Red Bulls and LA Galaxy. Ever Banega is odds on to join Southampton, the only other clubs with quoted odds are the two Manchester clubs and the two Milan clubs, how is there nobody in the gap in stature betwenn So'ton and the others linked?

As Homer Simpson once said, "I like those odds!"

We won't be signing this lad for £3m because, quite frankly, he isn't worth it.

And then trying to persuade him to be a trooper and cut his wages to £20k a week...

**** RIGHT OFF
