Society is becoming one big melting pot, football is no different. Bring these overseas lads in young enough, by the time they're good enough to play at an international level they've become multinationals and they can play for England. The amount of players playing for country's they weren't born in is now very common practice. Adnan Januzaj is a good example of a player who qualified for England from learning his trade here. I know the down side is sometimes they won't choose England, but not all players will have Belgium or another big international country to choose from. England aren't bringing enough quality through, if anything England will have better options in the future, just a shame it's the clubs finding a solution instead of the fa, 'proper' English talent will continue to suffer but it always will anyway until the fa take the responsibility and reform grass roots football and invest a lot of money.
I see Ged set his sights out as far as Ireland again this season, wonder if he took an out of work Pop Robson with him for the ride too, it was his favourite place too.
