If we're going on dropping Davis after four games due to being not good enough, then half out team will have to change as well

Davis is a boo boy now, plain and simple

Important for fans to help keep team confidence up...no one makes mistakes deliberately. KD will have a great game soon and all this will be forgotten.

He didn`t become Super KD for nothing, and he is part of the DNA of the team. Remember WHU coming in for him a few seasons ago. Getting on his case isn`t going to help him or the team.
He is coming towards the end of his shelf life, but until we have a replacment, please back him.

Davis has stepped up better than Federici has, for sure. In fact, Federici was dropped for the Spurs game. Davis was in the Championship Team of the Year, this means that he had a better season in the eyes of the players last year than Robert Green, Julian Speroni and Kasper Schmeichel. He must have done something right.

Seriously though, David James is a legend. Since Gaydamak came in, there's only two players of the many we signed that I would describe as legends: Pedro Mendes and David James.

Kelvin Davies is one of my favourite saints players of all time, but he has been average at best so far this season. Once GK reach a certain age they just lose it.

You know, you're much older than I thought, Gaston..! No goals yet either. Good pass the other day though.

I know, I made a good pass to Lamberto, but he couldn't manage to put the ball in the back of the net :(.

I would say it was the pass of the day for either side. It was so good, it not only caught the Arsenal defence totally napping, it caught Rickie out too. Perfectly weighted too. Anybody from Pundit World would have said it was a scuffed shot, but we know you don't do that sort of thing. :)

It wasn't a scuffed shot, it was a "Xavi type pass" <ok>.

There will be more of those types of passes next week against Aston Villa, and Lamberto will be on the end of them as well :) .

Mr Ramirez, would you like to reveal what sort of wages we're paying you? ;)

I know it wasn't a scuffed shot. You know it. But the important thing is... the pundits don't know it. Do it again next week against Villa and they be hailing you [why are sports persons hailed..? They're not taxis], and Rickie, sorry Lamberto, can add to his tally of goals. ;)

I think you are bloody blind pal! Davies is woeful, he is not even close to being good enough and the fact that you can't see this makes me doubt you have any credible football knowledge!

I may of called it a week premature
And got a bit shot down but Kelvin is getting found out for what he is!

Yes if we can't organise a better replacement in the freebie market this week then the thing to do is put Gazza in!
We don't have time to waste!

Your a dick mate...a f@*king blind one too!

Yeah was immature granted but it angers me as its so bloody obvious!

I don't read the papers much or listen to the media but this weekend I just wanted to torture myself further and see what they all said! All were very critical of Davis and they can't all be wrong too!

I think 1 or 2 things will happen!

    1. We continue showing loyalty to kelvin and we will get relegated...not because we are not good enough as a team but because he is awful and also this has an effect on the confidence of the players in front of him!

    Or

    2. We replace him with either a freebie or Gazza and hope they are a better all round keeper, we can then work on the defence and push on from there. Probably stay up based on goals scored!

1 very good game he had there! I can't deny that! That however will be the only clip you find of KD playing like that....it only ever happened once!

Well sure, he was unreal that day. I'm not gonna make you change your mind but I would just say give him one more month. We've got some games against teams notable for not being in the Champions League and it will give us a much better idea of where everyone is. Nigel has made the big decisions before and I am sure he will will make the change by bringing Gazza in or buying someone in January, if Kelvin is struggling.
