Dai at that time Utd weren't what they are today in terms of stature and finances, so Fergie never had a shares issue or other non football issues to contend with(apart from the drink culture), you're over simplifying Moyes's position.

Anything outside what the players and the manager does on the pitch is irrelevant kopite, I'm pointing out that fergie did not exactly set the world alight in his first half of his first season either and look what happened to him...Fergie chose Moyes because he knows he is the best man for the job and it will take time for him to get it right, There is no instant fixes in football and Moyes is no super manager either but he needs more than half a season until he gets where he is aiming to be that's for sure. Moyes will be there for the long haul and will go nowhere as apart from silly fans calling for his head the people who run man utd knows that considering fergie's retirement that moyes is doing well for only half a season...

I'm not calling for head Dai, that will be on the end of a large spear on United Way soon the way things are going.<laugh>

I think its great. Its about time the plastics knew what it was like to support a team that are not guaranteed to win a trophy.

That is true because the reality is they don't know what its like to have a new manager at the helm. Fergie was a one off and a great man.

I come to the conclusion it is not Moyes' fault. My little boy has 'watched' Utd four times this season and Utd have lost on each occasion including the FA cup game, for that I apologise . Utd's results should now start improving as he is not watching any more.

Are you Matths Dad? <yikes>

I'll give the posters/mods credit where it's due. At least you guys can take the banter. You haven't deleted any threads or posts yet. Unlike the hypersensitive mods of the Liverpool board, who will ban anyone who criticises their club or players. <ok>

Credit to the united mods. You guys have taken the banter well. I think Moyes needs a few seasons to get his act together but until then this is the best bit of comedy I've seen in years. :)

You are a very poor WUM. Try a little harder.

It doesnt help that our own fans are tryin to pin it on Fergie rather than put the blame at the feet of the manager.

Perhaps you could suggest we might change our name so people stop laughing at us. Did that team from hell take the name Tigers yet?

Manchester Tigers, GO TEAM STRIPES!

Manchester Hamsters would be more appropriate
