There's a lot of papers saying he's "Glad Clive Clarke had a heart attack" which isn't what he said - he said he was glad it happened the night of the Luton game so it deflected away from how bad Sunderland were and then he said that he felt low for feeling that way!

Shame it wasn't one of his kids, might have taken his mind off it a bit more <ok>

Not saying it's right what he said though smug - simply that he never said he was glad Clarke had a heart attack - the way I read it is that he was glad that the press had something else to talk about other than our terrible performance! He also said this was due to the world he was in at the time. I reckon loads of gaffers have felt the same about certain things but none of them actually say it - I actually have a lot of respect for him for admitting that

I know what you mean mate and I appreciate straight talking ....... just think the bloke's family would've been rightly annoyed.

Anything that reflects badly on SAFC makes me look twice tbh.

I lost a lot of respect for Keane when he left Scholes and Giggs out of his United 11 in that programme with Vieira last year, I thought it was petty and pathetic of him. So I'm not exactly his biggest fan, but the guy is still right up there at the top with a select few for me, and from personal experience, he seems really calm and down to earth as a person when talking to him.

I'll never be able to judge Keane's arrogance, based on his failure to toe-the-line and conform to 'how things should be on the pitch', for me this is ridiculous because there's no way United would have won as much as they have without him being that exact person.

He remains one of my favourite players of all time, I don't care what he says about Fergie, we all know Fergie wasn't an angel but he had no grounds to leave Scholes and Giggs out!

I saw that programme. In fairness to Keane, himself and Vieira had to be the midfield 2 as they were the centre of the programme. Ronaldo had to be on one wing, so that left only 1 spot. Most would have had Giggs there, fair enough, but Pires is up there with the best foreign imports to the Premier League, and others like Marc Overmars also missed the cut. No reason to disrespect the man in my opinion, more of a reason is the fact he is a vile and dirty thug.

They picked a team each as well if my memory serves me, either way, he later apologised for not including them, he said he was being a bit unfair (childish more like).

He was a nasty player on the pitch, your soft chopper captain wonfuckall got to know that only too well. <laugh>

Yes, you're right I remember now. His Man U XI had himself and Paul Ince in centre mid. Shocking you're quite right.

Ahh, still holding a resentment towards the only player to see through your plastic club and reject the chance of a career of hollow glory? ;)

When exactly did Shearer find that out, when he didn't even flinch when your oh so scary captain Destroyer clobbered him in the face like a wet willy? <whistle>

Plastic club <laugh> that's ****ing rich coming from Sports Direct FC! You have no identity whatsover.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to, dirty boy was our Roy 'Winner' Keane. Defo should have had Scholes in though, instead of that bindipping piece of **** Ince.

Haha at least we know that everyone at our games actually cares about the club, not the glory. And hasn't travelled 4 hours up from the smoke to be there.

Just kidding.

Yeah, cares that much that you walk out en-mass every time you go a goal down throwing your season tickets at Pardew <laugh>

I think you'll find most of our fans come from China nowadays actually, the Londoners can no longer afford the train.

That's just our way of keeping the club afloat, 4 season tickets per year instead of one really makes up the shortfall on our accounts. That's how much we care.

Haha, maybe if Pardew started selling tickets to his post-match press conferences as 'stand up comedy with Alan Pardew' you might get a bit more cash into the coffers.

Good idea <ok>

One of the funniest things is that, if Newcastle win, he uses 'I thought, I prepared the team, I made substitutions, etc'.

If they lose he always says 'we' ............. I don't think he knows he's doing it.

Perhaps that could be next week's banner <laugh>

Would certainly attract our "militant" fan base as Pardew calls it.

<grr> Did you have to say that? I'm going to notice it all the time now ha.

Whenever they lose lately he's always blaming the fans, at first I was shocked but now I think it's hilarious, he's got no shame!

First time I heard it I was in the kitchen, I thought I was missing a new episode of Only Fools & Horses "Get rid of them bloody fans".
