    Apparently AVB knew Kaboul was going to need surgery but will still let Dawson go if the right offer comes in.

    That's lunacy.
    We desperately need to keep Dawson now, as our defenders pick up a ridiculous number of injuries, for some reason.
    Hopefully he'll stay put and force his way back into the side.
    Gallas and Caulker for the Europa and whatever the bloody League Cup's called now.

    Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh. I'd give Caulker and Vertonghen a try. Potentially brilliant. If it doesn't work, play Dawson.

    It looks like AVB will start Gallas, though.

    I can see us conceding too many goals this season, particularly now we are without last seasons 2 best CB`s in Kaboul and King.

    i,m not worried because i think Caulker will step up to the Plate,think he will become the next Ledley King

    Caulker is nowhere near the level of a (fit ) King, and I doubt he ever will be. King , when fit, totally different class to most Prem CBs.

    Daws and Verts for me v Norwich.
