damm! I thought he was due to be back Saturday, I hope this means Dawson gets a chance rather then Gallas having an extended run.
I prefer Caulker but it seems this "experience" is needed, going by avb and his selection so I'll be surprised if avb takes the gamble and players caulker with verts.
Caulker played in the under 21 game with United, seems to be viewed as one for the future.. Gallas and Verty with Dawson on the bench.
Yet last season he was proving himself as a premier league centre back so I hardly think he will settle for going back to the under 21's, he deserves a chance.
Terrible news. Best wishes Younes. Just as well Levy/AVB didn't get their wish to move Daws on. I hope he plays v Norwich. Of all the CBs to deal with Holt, Daws would be our best bet I reckon.
Completely agree, I'd love to see him start ahead of Gallas but as you say - AVB's team selection so far leads me to think otherwise. I guess we do need some experience in the back line. Who would lead a back four of Walker - Caulker - Vertonghen - Benny ??
Fook. I still think we are well enough equipped at the back to deal with this, fingers crossed everyone else stays fit.
Copuld explain why rumours of another centre half coming in have arisen again (and Carvalho still hasn't signed on the line for QPR so......)
Things could be getting worse, GDS has just tweeted that he is in the physio room beside 'El Matador' (the killer) . His name for JD. Sign another striker please Mr Levy.
Don't worry, we have Dembele, he used to play as striker and has 1 in 4 from the dutch league and 1-12 with Fulham, no need to panic!
GDS has been in the Physio room since the olympics. I guess that's why we cant sell him. Perhaps a last minute (no time for a medical) deal can be done for him tomorrow night.
