Hi guys/gals,

Not Saints related but I thought I would start here. I'm planning on going to a Juventus game at the end of September as I'll be in Turin, also from there Geneva, Lyon, Milan, Parma. The fixtures are out on Friday so I'll be able to ascertain which home game and the date I'll be going.

I'm wondering though how I could go about securing tickets, I'm not a member of their priority scheme (£60 per head for a season), I've tried messaging the English Juventus Twitter handle twice but without reply so I was wondering if anyone here could provide me with any info or point me in the direction of someone who could. The match is a big part of the reason for our trip but I'm just getting nervous now that tickets will be a problem.

Thanks in advance and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hi NISaint. I did a similar trip a few years back, but to Rome (coincidentally it was Juve I saw against Roma). My mate organised the tickets and so I’ll drop him a note to see how he went about it. It was about 10 years back mind.

7 or 8 years ago, we did the same in Madrid and I remember for that, we just went to the ground the day before the game to buy tickets from the office. They announced a time on the Friday afternoon and we just went and queued.

I’ll come back as soon as I hear from him.

Thanks very much mate! I know it is often the case that match tickets can be bought from the stadium on the day, when I was in Barcelona you could even buy tickets from an ATM. Just worried that early in the season, Ronaldo signing, only a 41k seater stadium, it might be tricky. Actually quite worried about it, but only because I've never tried before. Supported Juventus for 16 years (a year longer than even the Saints) and haven't been to a match yet :( All my money goes into Saints trips, but I'm going on an Italian holiday so I thought now is the time.

Your hero was playing, as was Zlatan

I did ask my mate, but he can’t remember! He thinks he prepaid for them through a ticket agent site and we collected them from ticket office on the day. I remember us collecting them from the ticket booth.

Sorry can’t help more than that.

No problem! Thanks for checking anyway. The release date for the fixtures has randomly been delayed from yesterday to the 26th. Farcical really! Making it very difficult to plan anything.

I remember watching a documentary not long ago, about the influence of Ultras on Italian football. Don't remember which club it was - a household name, though - where ticket distribution was basically put in the hands of the Ultras.
