Anyone know if we've given him a job at the club?

I bumped into him(literally) in the members bar on Saturday and he was in a very smart suit and was sporting a club tie.

He might have just been a guest, but I wondered if maybe he'd been given a role at the club?

Dont know about him working for us olm but had the pleasure speaking with him a few times over the years .Always spoke highly of the club top man

He is a nice fella, I've met him a couple of times before Saturday, including at his début for North Ferriby United.

He clattered everyone in that game. <laugh>

I understand he's playing for South Cave in the veterans league now.

I might be wrong but I think him and Rob Dewhurst do something on the hospitality side of things.
Rob trains my lads football team , I'll ask him next time I see him.

Someone posted on CI that he's often in the Circle Restaurant, along with Pete Skip and Stan McEwan, so he must indeed play some hospitality role.

Well before and after matches he just goes round the boxes, has a bit of a chat with the lads about the game and everything and just gets free drinks and meals tbh. As soon as Adam Pearson came back both Justin and John Eyre got jobs back within the club, glad to see that AP looks after the old lads!

Justin works with the team that looks after match, kit and ball sponsors which is run by Linton Brown.

It is a really good team. I was lucky to be invited to a day with one of the match sponsors and an ex player (for me it was Rob Dewhurst) gives you a tour of the stadium including the dressing rooms and stays with you throughout the day including joining you for a meal.

These guys do a great job and I think the club should be applauded for employing ex players in these roles.
