I've been a Hull fan long enough to know that things are not likely to go to plan. But now and again they do.

I am thinking of ways to celebrate on Saturday, just in case.

The usual suggestion would be lots of beer, but I would rather save my beer money for a couple of weekends time when I am actually in Hull.

My main thought so far is to treat myself to a large haddock and chips from a local chip shop (though Reading isn't exactly a fish and chip connoisseurs delight). Maybe I can find an Urdu/Chinese translation for the word "scraps"?

How would you be likely to mark the occasion, should it occur?

I've had a bottle of champagne in the cupboard for the past three years, also a massive cigar which my mate brought me from Cuba, i will sit down on my own in the garden and drink/ smoke the champs and cigar, I am then hopefully after the Cardiff game going to have a promotion barbecue with plenty of beer/wine ect. Finally on the Sky planner i have still got the premier league match from when we beat Arsenal 2.1 which the wife as nattered me to get rid of for years, i told her it is staying there until we get back to the premier league so hopefully i will be getting rid of it

I was already going out 'round Hull tomorrow night, so it could be a weekend of partying for me. Lots of partying tonight depending on the result (mind you, I could drown my sorrows...) and then Barracuda, Revolution, Sugar Mill etc on Saturday night!

Come on you 'ull!

Win or lose, there's always booze. (unless you're in West Yorkshire)

i agree originallambrettaman but i want rid of my bottle so this is as good a time as any, i don't smoke cigars very often but i will be having one of them as well

Few cans of special brew, a 3 litre bottle of white lightning and a bottle of asda savers black currant squash.

A deck chair, a bag of builders sand and the washing up bowl.

I'll be sat on my deck chair on the beach in me sunglasses outside my back door drinking snakebite n black.

Olm and tickler whenever the pitch invasion is, tonight or against Cardiff, you pair should go and have a scrap in the south stand goal.

A fight to the death.

Wrong forum I think mate.

Try this one:

Mark it with fish, chips and chip spice. I would also have suggested Blastaways - but as they've stopped doing Castaway that idea falls flat on its face. So go for Vodka, Blue Bols and lemonade (well it reminds me of my time at Hull Uni)

Anyone up for a lap of the KC car parks at half 5 tomorrow, if Watford lose obviously?*

*This idea once read back may seem very ridiculous.
