I'd forgive him if he did well for us. Still think it's disrespectful towards the club when managers do that... But I'd rather Klopp in a cap than Rodgers in a suit.

Apparently before we went with Rodgers the club called Klopp and left a message on his answer service asking him to contact them. He thought it was a wind up so never bothered calling back, later finding out it was genuine.

Now I do not know if this is true, but if it is how useless were the recruitment committee, I assume we would have had one, not to continue the chase for him. Admittedly he would probably have told them to do one as he was happy where he was at that point in time.

Wouldn't have mattered though because according to FSG, Rodgers was always out first choice... ... Despite several other managers at the time claiming to have been offered the job.

I have seen a few videos on YouTube of him now. He really knows how to celebrate and the players love working for him.
