Gets down the line, gets himself into a good position in the box but surely after three years of blazing the ball into row Z, he must know that he cannot shoot a football at the target? Caulker was free on the edge of the box roaring for the pass but instead Toilet did what he always does and almost blasted it out of the Stadium.

He made a good cross to the far stick after that to be fair but knowing his limitations he should always pass when he's through on goal.
Passing to a CB as a preferable option says it all.

Him and SWP need to be convinced that they're wearing Blackburn and City tops and then they might start producing.

He's not a kid any more. He's unlikely to improve a lot given he's been here three years now and been awful almost always. Under a third manager now he looks absolute garbage. You can blame tactics and coaching all you like but if a winger can't cross a ball and beats his man maybe one time in five at a push, what's the point?

Hoilett has been almost as useless as SWP. They both arrived to a 'fanfare' as 'great signings' but have both been unmitigated disasters picking up obscene wages for virtually zero return.

Hoilett's 'finest' moment was his piss-poor cross at Wembley which Keogh so kindly teed-up for OBZ and SWP's one moment of glory in four years and £12 million of wages was his only PL goal, the winner at Chelsea. We have been royally shafted by both and several others...

Don't know what it is with hoilett I keep thinking he will come good for us but just doesn't happen, he never scores either.

There's an awful lot of bollocks being spouted on this thread!

Hoilett has been very disappointing this season, but Phillips has been equally as **** until he had a couple of decent games. People dismiss Hoilett's good games as a flash in the pan but decide that Phillips' good form in a couple of games makes him a good player.
Phillips is dozy, switches off constantly and roams around the pitch from his wide midfield role, leaving us completely unbalanced. If he did that under a coach like Pulis, he would be dropped.
Phillips also has the worst first touch I have ever seen!

Against Arsenal and Spurs he was back to being his ineffective self whilst not giving his fullback any help at all.

A lot of this is down to Ramsey. Phillips had his best game against Sunderland, where he played in a three behind the forward and was able to move around between those three positions, whilst the two holding midfielders protected behind them.

COL wake up. You wouldn't know a good player if he came up and sat on your face.

Its a wonder you didn't tell us Ferdinand would be a good signing....................................................................oh wait <doh>

Which good games has Hoilett had in the Premier League? When has the dozy **** ever put a good cross in or scored a bloody goal?

I was wrong about Ferdinand, as I've said a number of times. but you, being the troll that you are, continue to ignore anything anyone says in an attempt to wind them up.
