Totally agree 100%.
Last two seasons he worked perfectly together with Morsy, but thought did look very leggy in a lot of games. We need to to get some younger legs in midfield, especially with Morsy also in his 30's.
Add to that, our defence is not the best, so will they will need decent cover in front of them.
 
Early speculation seems to be a bit underwhelming, but I wonder if that’s because we’re targeting “easier” transfer business early on for players more readily available.

I did hear somewhere we’re only allowed a £60 million loss in line with the Premier League financial regulations. This implies we’re probably not going to be as free-spending as we arguably need to be. The only real saleable asset we have (that would move the needle above £15m odd) is Davis, and I’d rather keep him for at least one more season.
