He's a stir-fried loon. From Witchell's wiki page:

In 1974 Terence Dalton Limited published Witchell's book The Loch Ness Story. The book provides a history of the alleged sightings of the Loch Ness Monster and includes a chapter entitled 'The "Monster" on Land'. Witchell's belief in the existence of the creature is described as "quite unshakeable".

Sadly, there you show through your own mentality. Because you fail to recognise that I was not attempting to join in, sometimes it is more enjoyable reading the humour in people's posts regardless of their views. However, whereas with you it has to be the attention seeking, look at me, C U N T post.

Save your fingers, I am not wasting my time responding to you again.

Listen you irrelevant mutant, you jumped in and quoted my post when it has **** all to do with you. Then you say i'm desperate for attention? <doh>

My ***** fanclub is pretty full at the mo, it's invite-only for a while now, ask that ****wit Jacky to put you on the waiting list <ok>

Regarding royals and tourism:

"Westminster Abbey in London - the focus of huge global attention before and after the wedding of HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April - enjoyed a 36 per cent increase in visitors (1.9 million visitors during the year), placing the Abbey among the top 10 most-visited attractions for the first time."

Wonder how many of that extra half million visitors came from abroad.

The wedding was front page news around the world as I expect the Jubilee will be, it's free advertising.

Is that the kind of free advertising where everyone pays for it?

Don't spoil it for him. The wedding didn't cost taxpayers a penny. Honest, it didn't. Still, at least Westminster Abbey benefited. I'm sure that'll be a comfort to the millions of people worrying about rising energy bills, finding work, putting their kids through further education etc.

The wedding was broadcast live in many countries, in France on 4 different channels. In Germany, Kinder brought out a range of sweets in a royal wedding theme. That's the free advertising I'm refering to. How much would we have to pay an advertising agency to get "Brand Britain" on the TV screens and in the papers all over the world?

Slappo, there's no point in conversing with Thatchell and Gerry Adams there. They don't like the monarchy because an RC can't access the Top Job. They've been brought up to be bitter and take umbrage with anything that makes them feel 'oppressed'.

As a Salvation Army-er (?) I too can't access the Top Job, but unlike the O'Pressed, I can see through the disappointment and look at the bigger picture.

With those two clowns, we'd have had President Blair and Brown, we'd even have had President Thatcher which would have sent those two into over-beel.

Is that a serious question?

You think that an ad agency would cost more than giving the entire country a day off work for the wedding alone?

I'm guessing the agency's digs would be less than £7,000,000,000 (estimated worth of the CEO alone).

I still don't get how it's free.

If we don't subsidise them, they don't appear on TV in any country.
