A very fair point <ok> amidst all the cries of dole scum from the right wingers on here this is sort of lost. If I was asked to work for less money than welfare provided while getting treated like dirt in a no prospects job and missing time with the child for that, i would quickly tell whoever was demanding it to **** off in the kindest possible way. Doesn't sound like a nice situation to be in and thankfully (so far) not one I have had to confront. Just because alot of you don t have to confront the situation either doesn't mean you cant try a bit of empathy for those who do. Who knows, all it takes is one mistake to lose you your job (assault conviction, drink-driving conviction, even innocent situations like a one-night stand that can turn into a life devastating rape allegation) and it would be interesting to see how attitudes would change wheen some of you have to join that queue
