Waxing lyrical about all these boxers yet no one has mentioned the only undefeated champion 49 fights 49 wins in total and held the title from 1952 to 1956 before retiring to spend more time with his family .. the original rocky .. marciano

There weren't many who fancied facing Foreman in his prime until Clay stepped in and beat him .. Foreman in his prime was an unbelievably hard hitter but Clay just took it all before rubber dub dubbing him
 
But light by today's standards. Mentioned it before but my dad's highlight of his time in the navy in the war was shaking the hand of Joe Louis, his boxing hero when in Italy.
He could do anything though. He had it all. He fought some big men as well. I've watched probably every available bit of footage there is of him and I'd give him a shot against anyone
